RETURN POLICY

Thank you for ordering from The WKU Store. We are owned and operated by Western Kentucky University, and we return all of our proceeds to the Division of Campus Services.

IN-STORE PICKUP POLICY
DURING RUSH:
1. You have twenty-one (21) days from the start of class to pick up your course materials. You will be given
    one (1) courtesy email. If your order is not picked up at twenty-one (21) days, it will be re-shelved without
    refund.

REGULAR SEMESTER PERIOD:

1. You have seven (7) days after payment has been processed to pick up your course materials. You will be
    given one (1) courtesy email or phone call. If your order is not picked up after seven (7 days), it will be re-
    shelved without refund.


COURSE MATERIALS (TEXTBOOK) REFUND POLICY

In addition to The WKU Store general refund guidelines, course materials follow these guidelines:

A valid receipt is required for all refunds.

• 
Course materials must be in original condition for a full refund.

• 
Access codes must be unopened.

• 
If you purchased your course materials before Tuesday, September 3rd 2019, you may return your course 
   materials within seven (7) business days.


• 
If you drop a course, you can provide your drop slip if you have your receipt and return your course material
   by Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 for a full refund.


• 
If you purchased your course materials on or after Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019, you may return your course
   materials within two (2) business days, subject to a thirty percent (30%) restocking fee.


COURSE MATERIALS (TEXTBOOK) REFUND POLICY FOR ONLINE STORE PURCHASES

• All items must be returned in the same condition as purchased.

 • Returns postmarked by the customer before the add/drop date (Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019) do not require authorization.

 • Mailed returns should have the packing list/receipt or copy of packing list/receipt included.

• Returns postmarked by customer after the add/drop date (Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019) need authorization and will be assessed a 30% restocking fee if approved.

 • When convenient for the customer, returns may be brought in person to The WKU Store on the ground floor of Downing Student Union. See wkustore.com for store hours.  

 


APPAREL/INSIGNIA RETURN POLICY FOR ONLINE STORE PURCHASES
Clothing may be returned with receipt within thirty (30) business days for a full refund. Item(s) must be in original condition with price tags attached. If you are not satisfied, we'll do our best to make it right. Here are the options available:

• EXCHANGES: Contact us at (800) 444-5155 or (270) 745-2286 to ensure availability of replacement item(s).
   If there is an error on our part, we will replace your order with the corrected item(s) and send you a call
   tag for return shipping of incorrect item(s). If you request an exchange, you will be responsible for return
   shipping.


• RETURNS (REFUNDS): Please note on your packing slip receipt the reason for your return. If the return is a
   result of an error on our part, we will refund the return shipping and credit you upon receipt of the item(s).

REFUND POLICY (CONCERNING ALL REFUNDS) 

A valid receipt is required for all refunds. No receipt, no refund.

All refunds will be administered the same as the original form of payment. For example, VISA charges will
  be credited back to the original VISA card.


Payments made by check will be refunded as cash after seven (7) business days.

For University Bill payment deadlines visit: Office of the Bursar then click on: "Fee Payment Due Dates."

All refunds are subject to the discretion of The WKU Store staff.

GENERAL MERCHANDISE REFUND POLICY

TRADE BOOKS & STUDY AIDS - There are no refunds on trade books, magazines, periodicals, study aids,
   bar charts, dictionaries or any other study aids or references guides.


CLOTHING - Clothing may be returned with receipt within thirty (30) business days for a full refund. Item
   must be in original condition with price tags attached. All clearance sales final: No exchanges or refunds.


SUPPLIES - Supplies may be returned with receipt within seven (7) business days for a full refund. Items

   must be in original, unopened package.

COMPUTERS & TECHNOLOGY - The original receipt is required for all returns and exchanges for computers,
   electronic products and accessories at the WKU store; a valid photo ID is also required.
Returns must be
    unopened and returned within seven (7) days of purchase for a full refund.

Unopened computers and electronic products: including computers, computer accessories, calculators, and headphones, may be returned with receipt within seven (7) days for a full refund. There will be NO refunds on opened computers, electronics products and accessories, calculators or headphones. Defective merchandise must be returned to the manufacturer.

AppleCare and Safeware extended warranties for computers are available at The WKU Store.

The WKU store reserves the right to deny any return or exchange.
